With a large storm off the coast and a Small Craft Warning, the waves were huge and the surfers were out en masse yesterday at Lecount Hollow in Wellfleet! (Click on blog link for other photo.)

The weather is still beautiful and the water temperature is warm, so it is easy to enjoy the last days of summer. This person is certainly savoring the quiet and solitude looking out onto Little Pleasant Bay.

Looking back on Coast Guard Beach at Coast Guard Station on the left is always spectacular. You can see the ocean, the beach and the iconic Coast Guard Station which is one of the original nine stations constructed at Nauset.
