I stopped at Rock Harbor the other morning and took a quick photograph of the sun coming up over the boats in the harbor. It wasn’t until I got home and looked at it that I saw how pretty it was and how dramatic the colors were. I loved the golden hues on everything… what do you think?
I’m not sure you can take a bad photograph of Rock Harbor. Each one is totally different and unique. I loved this one with the flowers in the foreground and the fishing boats in the background. Pretty, don’t you think? Check out all those red, white and blue boats!
The past few mornings have been so foggy that you can’t even see the water and if you take a walk, you can hear the dew dripping from the trees. It’s very humid. When I went out on my early morning bike ride, I saw some pretty wildflowers growing near the salt marsh. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It was low tide on the salt marsh and you could see the back side of Rock Harbor in the distance. I thought, “How can I make lemonade out of lemons?” I snapped a few photographs and then came home and challenged Phil to an edit.
Mine is the first edit and his is the 2nd. Totally different interpretations, don’t you think? Which one do you like better?
It was so much fun on Wednesday evening to hear the Steel Drum Band playing at Rock Harbor. There were quite a few people there listening to their unique sounds. I heard that they will be there on Wednesday nights throughout the summer. Does anyone know if this is true?
I love Big Whiskey at Rock Harbor. It was especially fun to see all of the flags she displayed for the holiday! Wishing you all a fun and festive 4th of July!
