It was a beautiful day, so I ran up the trail to get a photo of Nauset Beach. I knew it would be spectacular. But, on the way up the path, I noticed that the handrails and the fence were only about 12″ off of the ground. Had that much sand blown in over the winter? Or maybe they trucked in sand to build up the dunes because of erosion and that had blown onto the trail?
Very tiny aliens have landed and taken over the beach. They can now reach the hand railings. 🙂
