River Road in Orleans has a dock and a launch ramp for residents of Orleans, in season. The rest of the year, anyone can use the ramp to launch their boats. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I really liked this winter scene of one of the private docks nearby. You can the 2 extra sections of the dock that will extend out over the water come summer. And then I pulled my camera back and, in the 2nd photograph, you can see the dinghy in the foreground. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. What do you think?
Both are gorgeous, just different!
The first is quiet and serene.
To me, the second suggests activity because of the boat and those amazing shadows.
