Many of the beaches on Cape Cod have these “beach access mats” which make it easier for the handicapped to enjoy the beach.
These mats are wonderful. We were able to take my 95+ wheelchair-bound mother to Short Beach in Stratford because of them. She had always enjoyed going to the beach, and the mats allowed our family to spend a memorable day together.
