Every year we cut up little pieces of sisal twine and put it out in our yard for the Baltimore Orioles to use when weaving their intricate nests. They love it! (Click on blog link for other photos.)

Sometimes we’ll even see some of the Bluebirds gathering it. Yesterday we saw this Robin running around our yard picking up every piece of sisal twine that he could find! Look at his mouth full!

But, today is a new day with lots more sisal twine scattered about, so we’ll see who picks it up to make their nest! I’m sure they all love it! And we have lots more sisal twine for anyone who wants it!
