Yesterday was one of those picture perfect mornings at Coast Guard Beach and there were lots of old-time surfers in the water enjoying the waves. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It was fun watching them ride the small waves. We even saw a seal swimming about!

Had to look up “geevum” (autocorrect insisted on typing “gerbil” instead, but I prevailed.
Anyway: Geevum means “Go for broke” and it’s the title of a Don Ho song, if The Google is right.
