The 33rd Annual Cat Gathering put on by Arey’s Pond Boat Yard was held last weekend. There were a lot of excited sailors racing on the beautiful and breezy day. (Click on blog link for other photos.)

It is a just-for-fun regatta for catboats and classic sailboats. It starts in Little Pleasant Bay, goes through The Narrows, and into Pleasant Bay. Every year nearly 100 boats come together for this parade of sail.

We watched the start of each race at Pahwah Point and then headed over to Pleasant Bay.
You could see how close the races were as they rounded the buoys.

What a gorgeous day and a fun time had by all!
