It seems like time we go for a walk on Coast Guard Beach, it looks so different. We walk there pretty frequently, so these changes are pretty dramatic each time.

This photograph is of the end of the beach near Nauset Spit. Earlier this summer, I posted photos of the beach being huge, but this time, it looks very narrow at median tide between high and low tide. You can be see, where the sand is wet, how high the tide comes in. Yikes! There is not much room for any birds to nest on the beach as the water goes almost as high as the grass.
