This was one of the trails that we used to take coming back from Nauset Spit on the marsh side. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
You used to be able to do a loop around from the ocean to the marsh and then through the dune back to the ocean side. We haven’t tried that recently, have you?
At least Mother Nature carved some stair steps!
Those “stair steps” look like steps, but are actually layers in the sand. It’s pretty vertical there!
