We hadn’t taken a hike at Nickerson State Park in Brewster in a few months, so we were anxious to get back out there. (Click on blog link for other photos.)

We had heard that there were a lot of trees down by the ponds, so we stayed away from the water. We saw quite a few trees down, but totally cleaned up with lots of smaller branches everywhere.

You can see where these 3 trees, next to each other, snapped off  at the same height. Amazingly, they went the other way and didn’t hit the trail. Thank you for the incredible clean-up at Nickerson  State Park. We had no trouble navigating the trail!
