Breakfast At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

We were heading up to Fort Hill the other morning for a “picnic breakfast” when we saw this White-tailed Deer and her little one enjoying their breakfast by the old foundation on the side of the road . (Click on blog link for other photo.)

I always wondered what this foundation was a part of, so I did a bit of research. I found this, although I’m not sure if it’s the same foundation:

”The Fort Hill Rural Historic District in Eastham, part  of the Caoe Cod National Seashore,  contains a well-known capped foundation of the former Gunn Dairy Barn. Located along the Fort Hill Trail, these ruins represent a 200-year history of farming by the Knowles and Penniman families (1742–1941) and offer scenic views of Nauset Marsh.”

Does anyone know if this is indeed, the same foundation?
