Friday morning was a gorgeous morning for the Eastham Painters Guild to gather at Fort Hill to paint those much anticipated beautiful Lupine wildflowers which everyone looks forward to seeing this time of year, (Click on blog link for other photos.)
The first to arrive and set up were Nancy and Renee who were so friendly as they told me all about the Eastham Painters Guild. It was fun to watch them sketch out their landscapes and then check back an hour later. You can see what they can create in just an hour!
As I was leaving, I could see many of the other painters just arriving. “The Eastham Painters Guild is comprised of artists from Eastham and surrounding Cape Cod communities. All of our member artists are juried into the Guild and only sell original paintings in a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and encaustic. Many of our members have studied with nationally recognized artists and show in juried exhibits and in galleries throughout the Cape and beyond.”

How wonderful to be able to paint a beautiful scene – or take a beautiful photo!
