We had just started out on a hike when I looked up and saw this gorgeous Bald Eagle soaring above. Wow! ( Click on blog link for other photos.)

I’ve only seen a couple of them on Cape Cod, so this was a big treat! As we hiked around the pond, I was hoping to see it again. And there it was, way up high in the tree, overlooking the pond.

You can see how far away he was in the last photo which I took from across the pond. If you look very closely at the tallest tree to the right, you can see his silhouette. So cool!
