Overlooking Nauset Marsh From Fort Hill On Cape Cod… Horizontal Or Vertical?

This was such a pretty view of Nauset Marsh from Fort Hill with the iconic bench and all of the Queen Anne’s Lace wildflowers blowing in the wind. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

I took a horizontal photo while Phil took a vertical one. I can’t decide which one I like better. What do you think?

  1. Years ago I took a photo of a train on an old stone arch bridge. The bridge was great. The fall colors were great in the background, but it was all about the poofy clouds in the sky! A year or so later, I was going through my photos to compile a book and discovered a closer-in shot where you could see steam rising from the locomotive. And the individual stones of the bridge. It was just as good, only different. That earlier me would appreciate the vertical more but the detail and pop of the horizontally framed image really work for me now. Both stand on their own!
