Did you know that the tidal flats in Massachusetts are the largest tidal flats in North America? They span up to 12,000 acres and stretch nearly 10 miles along Cape Cod Bay from Brewster to Eastham.  At low tide, the water recedes up to two miles offshore, exposing vast sandbars, tidal pools, and intricate marine ecosystems.
