It seems like all of the trails through the sand dunes on Cape Cod to the beaches are just spectacular! This one in Wellfleet took my breath away.
Just gorgeous, don’t you think?
One of the prettiest views of Nauset Marsh and Coast Guard Beach is from the overlook by the Coast Guard Beach parking lot. There are benches and a picnic table if the weather is nice.
In this photo, you can see Nauset Marsh off to the right and Coast Guard Beach to the left. Down the middle is Nauset Spit where the Atlantic Ocean empties into Nauset Marsh. The boats that are moored there look like little dots in the water.
Such a pretty overlook. Have you ever been there?
I love to walk along the beaches of Cape Cod Bay at low tide. You can walk out for miles and… the sand ripples are so fascinating. (Click on blog link to see other photos.)
I was walking along the beach toward Rock Harbor from Boat Meadow the other day when I stopped to look at the sand ripples left by the waters at high tide. They were really interesting. In a couple of hours, they would be all covered over again.
I used the 3 photo settings on my new iPhone 11 Pro Max and thought the photos were pretty cool. What do you think?
