This little baby Bluebird is making quite the scene in our backyard, waiting for mom and dad to feed him. There were several other babies up in the tree, but this little guy was staying right close to the feeder! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It was such a treat to see the Monarch butterflies flitting about looking for food at Fort Hill. I only saw a couple of them this week but was able to get a pretty decent photograph.
I love my early morning bike rides… I have a favorite route and then several that I may deviate to. This was such a pretty morning at Boat Meadow Beach.
One of our favorite hikes is the Nauset Marsh Trail by the Visitor’s Center in Eastham. It has so much diversity that there is always something new to see… like the kayaker out in the river!
I love this bridge over the salt marsh. It is such a beautiful view. Have you ever hiked the Nauset Marsh Trail? Does this bridge look familiar?
There were so many pink Lady Slippers blooming along the Beech Forest Trail in Provincetown, I couldn’t decide which photograph I liked best. How often do you get to see 4 of these beauties next to each other in a row? What a treat!
Have you seen any Lady Slippers this summer?
