The lobster-men were busy at work the other day putting their lobster pots in the water off of Hemenway Landing. You can see the truck with more lobster pots and the boat which is overflowing with lobster pots as they make their way through Nauset Marsh.
The Nauset Marsh Trail is so pretty, any time of the day, any day of the year. There is a little pool midway on the hike which is right next to Nauset Marsh. I loved the reflection in the water.
These two Willets were putting on quite a show on the Nauset Marsh side of Coast Guard Beach. We were lucky that we had our cameras with us. But we could never figure out if they were fighting or mating with their flamboyant behavior! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
There were the coolest patterns of sand at the end of Coast Guard Beach by Nauset Spit. It almost looks like a tray of swirled fudge. (Click on blog link to see larger photo
You can see the formations as you look out onto Nauset Marsh from the backside of Coast Guard Beach.
