I love to to go to Provincetown as there are always so many quaint things to see. We took a ride out on the docks the other morning. The fishing boats with the beautiful clouds in the sky were so “Provincetown.”
The Sanderlings were scurrying about looking for food by the water’s edge on Coast Guard Beach. They were so cute as they dug their little beaks in the sand looking for aquatic invertebrates such as crustaceans or mollusks. (Click on blink link for other photo.)
Have you ever seen Sanderlings along the water’s edge? How cute are these little guys?
What a great place for a bench on the John Kendrick Trail for people to relax and watch the happenings on the river below… whether they be sailboats, motorboats or birds or wildlife. There is always so much to see.
Have you ever hiked the John Kendrick Trail in Orleans? Such a pretty, wooded trail…
The water was like glass at Kent Point. I loved this photograph looking out toward Little Pleasant Bay. If you close your eyes, you can imagine all of the sailboats sailing by on a hot summer day.
I seem to get a lot of photographs of different birds on my bird bath. They love just hanging out there whether to get a drink or take a bath. The interesting thing is that they are all taken from inside through the glass. I loved this one of the Blue Jay. Look at those vibrant colors!
