We were taking a walk along Cape Cod Bay at low tide the other morning when we stopped on the dock at Rock Harbor to look at some of the boats. This Egret jumped up on the dock and started walking toward me.
The tides on Cape Cod have been so high the past couple of days, you can’t even walk onto the dock at Rock Harbor. You can see the water under the Harbor-master’s hut and onto the parking lot.
September is one of my favorite months here on Cape Cod. The weather is usually warm as is the water. And… the people are gone so you have the place to yourself!
This was one of the last days of summer with the people lazing about in the water and on the beach at Rock Harbor. So peaceful…
Phil and I were at Rock Harbor watching the boats the other morning when we saw this fisherman working on his boat. I couldn’t decide if i liked the photograph in black and white or in color. They each give you a different feeling. (Click on blog link for photo in color.)
