The Calm Before The Storm On Cape Cod Bay.

Yesterday morning was just beautiful with the temps in the 30s and a little breeze. It was a perfect day to take a nice walk before the storm today.

This is one of my favorite places in Eastham… looking out through the reeds to Cape Cod Bay with a bit of snow on the beach.

So pretty, don’t you think?

Love This “Tree Foot” At Nickerson State Park On Cape Cod.

I always love seeing this “tree foot” on the trail in Nickerson State Park in Brewster. It looks just like a big animal but you can only see its foot on the trail. It always brings a smile to my face. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

Have you ever seen this “tree foot” at Nickerson? Pretty cool, don’t you think?

Beautiful Day At Cliff Pond In Nickerson State Park on Cape Cod.

Nickerson State Park in Brewster has some great hiking trails. Many of them are around or near the ponds, which makes the views amazing!

This particular day was cloudy and chilly but there was no wind and not a ripple on the water. I love this view of Cliff Pond. Have you ever hiked there?

Great Trails At Nickerson State Park In Brewster On Cape Cod.

Nickerson State Park is one of our favorite places to hike, especially off-season.  Many of the hikes are in the woods so it’s more secluded than many other places that get a lot of wind. (Click on blog link for other photos.)

There are so many different hikes to take or you can invent your own hike depending on what you wish to see… ponds, woods, marshes, etc. It’s always beautiful, no matter when you go!
