The Willets On Cape Cod Are Chatty And Abundant!
You know when the Willets have come back to Cape Cod in the spring. They are loud and chatty and their calls fill the air. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
When standing still, the Willets are a grey color, but when they open their wings, they are spectacular with black and white wings.

“An unmistakable voice, combining the insistent petulance of a hungry chipmunk with the lyrical rhythms of a whip-poor-will.” Have you seen or heard the Willets this year?
