The trails at Fort Hill are just gorgeous, with all of the flowers and bushes starting to bloom. The Japanese Honeysuckle is exceptionally pretty with its delicate white flowers.

The Willets On Cape Cod Are Chatty And Abundant!

You know when the Willets have come back to Cape Cod in the spring. They are loud and chatty and their calls fill the air. (Click on blog link for other photos.)

When standing still, the Willets are a grey color, but when they open their wings, they are spectacular with black and white wings.

They remind me of those lawn ornaments when they are flying, where the black and white wings start going round and round in the wind.

The Blue Handicapped Mats Are In At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod.

The blue “handicapped mats” are in at Coast Guard Beach and it looks like they’re ready for summer and all of the visitors. These mats provide a safe and accessible surface for people  who need help or use beach wheelchairs to access the beach.
