Beautiful Mockingbird At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

There are lots of Mockingbirds at Fort Hill this season and they sure do love to pose to have their picture taken! This guy sat on top of the branch near the beginning of the trail for quite a while as we clicked away. So many poses…

Gorgeous bird, don’t you think? Have you seen any Mockingbirds this year?

Welcome To Cape Cod National Seashore!

This is another one of my all-time favorite Cape Cod “pics” at Fort Hill. This seagull is just waiting… (Click on blog link for other photo.)

Funny thing is that we took a long walk and he was still there when we got back!

Is this one of your favs too?

The Red-Winged Blackbirds Are Back On Cape Cod!

I saw my first Red-winged Blackbird of the season yesterday morning at Fort Hill. I love it when they arrive in March as it signals that spring is just about here!

This guy was singing away on top of the branch way out in the meadow. As soon as you hear their sound, “Cuck-a-ree,” you know you made it through the winter.

Welcome back, Red-winged Blackbirds!
