This was such a cool photo of the ropes and chains on this old fishing boat docked at MacMillan Pier. You can see that they have have been well-used over many years out on the water.
We love to go to Rock Harbor and have a picnic lunch. There is always so much going on and so much to see. But I find this little “spectator” frequently staring at me. Hmmm…
It looks just like a clown face , although it is just part of a pulley system on one of the fishing boats. Have you ever seen it at Rock Harbor? Too funny!
This well-seasoned fishing boat was docked at MacMillan Pier in Provincetown the other day. It looks like it has made many trips out to sea. Very cool looking… a classic fishing boat from Gloucester.
It certainly looked just like summer at Rock Harbor yesterday. There were people everywhere…on the beach, in the water and on the boats. It felt like we jumped into summer in one day! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It’s that time of the year when you get a few warm days and you long for spring to be here. Pretty soon these slips will be full of boats waiting to go out on Cape Cod Bay for some fishing or just pleasure.
This is such a cool fishing boat that you can see at Rock Harbor and such a fun name, Big Whiskey. I took a photograph in both landscape and portrait. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
So much fun to see the boats coming back into the harbor…
I was looking for something patriotic to post on July 4th when I saw these two boats, red and blue, with American flags blowing in the wind above docked at Rock Harbor. Red, white and blue… perfect!
Happy July 4th to you all! May you have a happy and restful day.
