Marconi Beach Stairway After The Nor’easter On Cape Cod.

The stairway at Marconi Beach was looking pretty good after the powerful Nor’easter that visited Cape Cod last week. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

You could see that the sand had covered a few of the bottom steps but I’m sure that can be dug out. Overall, it looked really good and people were using it to get to the beach.

The Surfers Were Out Yesterday At Newcomb Hollow On Cape Cod!

The waves were huge yesterday at Newcomb Hollow in Wellfleet. And the surfers came out en masse to catch that perfect wave. (Click on blog link to see many other photos.)

It was so much fun watching the surfers  in the water as they maneuvered those gigantic waves. Look at the size of those waves!

New Dunes At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod.

We were surprised to see the the dunes starting to take shape as we walked down Coast Guard Beach toward Nauset Spit the other day. They were easily 4-5 feet high. At low tide you can’t even see over  the top of them to the part of the beach that is roped off for bird nesting in the spring and summer.

It will be very interesting to see what Mother Nature has in store for Coast Guard Beach this coming winter. It has changed so much over the past few years.

Note: I took this photograph before the Nor’easter this past week. It will be interesting to see the changes now.
