Its always fun to see the fisherman hauling in the lobster on the roof at Mac’s Shack in Wellfleet. Makes for a great photo op, especially with the beautiful garden below.
Next time you drive by Mac’s Shack, don’t forget to look up!
The blue Chicory wildflower is blooming all over Cape Cod… on the trails, on the sides of the roads, in the meadows, just about everywhere you look.
Such a pretty wildflower and such a gorgeous color! Have you seen any blue Chicory this summer? You can see it all along Route 6 from Wellfleet to Truro!
There are lots of boats docked at Rock Harbor this time of the year. I usually take a photograph of the fishing boats nearer to the entrance, but there are some pretty boats at the back slips too.
I really liked the reflection of the boats and the masts of the sailboats on the water. What do you think?
We have a family of Northern Cardinals who love our bird feeders, especially the Safflower seeds. This little chick came with his dad, who was feeding him. They usually come early in the morning or right around dusk. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
And then he tried to get seed for himself. It doesn’t get much cuter!
