The docks are in and ready for the arrival of the boats that will launch and moor at Rock Harbor this spring. I liked this photograph of the empty poles in the water that will soon house a variety of boats from fishing boats to sailboats to pleasure boats.
Spring will be here soon and the harbor will be hopping…
It was a cloudy, chilly day on Nauset Beach, but beautiful just the same. Nauset Beach is one of those iconic beaches on Cape Cod that everyone remembers going to and loving the memories!
When we went for a picnic breakfast at Boat Meadow Beach the other morning, I couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. The blues of the water and the sky were magnificent! With the contrast of the beach, it was so pretty. And look at those clouds!
I saw my first Osprey a couple of weeks ago and then this week, I saw two of them on the nest on the salt marsh. Such a familiar sight for summer on Cape Cod. I love it! Can’t wait to watch their babies grow and fledge!
This was such a gorgeous, orange sunset over the salt marsh the other night. I could hear all of the birds chattering in the grasses. Just as I started to click, they took off into the sky.
So pretty, don’t you think? I love the orange glow on the water with the silhouettes of the birds above…
