Every time I walk home from downtown, I pass these Milkweed plants. I love how, in the fall, the pods open and the white fluff starts oozing out filled with black seeds ready for the wind to whisk them away!

We were taking a walk on the trail at Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet on Cape Cod when I saw this Green Crab in the sand.
The closer I got, the fiercer he looked!

After your picnic, try hiking one of the many trails around the salt marsh or through the woods. It is a gorgeous place!
And, if you like bird-watching, don’t forget your binoculars! You’re sure to see a lot of birds.

The Hydrangeas are still blooming here on Cape Cod. This pink one was so pretty on the side of the road.

The lighting was just perfect on the tree and the trail at Fort Hill in Eastham on Cape Cod. I loved it in black and white.

This Greater Yellowlegs was loving the low tide at Goose Pond at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

It was a spectacular fall day at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Each trail had incredible views and the fall colors were vibrant!
I took this photograph on the bridge on Silver Springs Trail overlooking the pond. Love that reflection in the water!
