There were a lot of people walking across the jetty from Provincetown out to the lighthouse. Good thing it was low tide because at high tide, it is impassable. (Click on blog link for other photo. )

You must plan ahead so that you don’t get stuck out there at high tide with no way to get back. Have you ever hiked that jetty?

You can hardly see where the jetty is on the Eastham side of Rock Harbor. It’s been so cold and there is so much ice on the bay, that it’s hard to even see the jetty, especially at high tide.

But such a pretty photo, don’t you think? I love the ice all around… it looks so cold!
