Yesterday was a beautiful fall day with temps in the high 50s and the perfect day for a hike on the Red Maple Swamp Trail. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

The fall colors were so pretty with a lot of the leaves blanketing the boardwalk over the swamp. Just a perfect day just to be outside…

The boardwalk on the Red Maple Swamp Trail at Fort Hill is lush with plants and wildflowers. The ferns along the boardwalk are growing and beautiful, as well as the tiny Canada Mayflowers that resemble little bottle brushes. Have you walked there lately?
