Pretty soon Skaket Beach will be full of people enjoying the ambiance of a leisure day at the beach… swimming at high tide or walking the flats at low tide. It’s almost time!
I always love the view when you’re driving in to Skaket Beach and you see the little shack at the entrance. You can feel the anticipation of a wonderful time at the beach… not yet, maybe in a couple of months!
The snow is high and everything you see is white… as far out as you can see. I’ve never seen Cape Cod Bay when you can’t even see the open water, just the snow and ice. It looks like you’re in the Arctic…
It was a gorgeous morning at Skaket Beach with birds everywhere! You could see the colors of changing over the horizon as the sun rose in the sky. The birds were enjoying the last bit of the sandbar before the tide came in.
