There is a plaque at Pahwah Landing that many people have asked me about when I’ve posted some of the beautiful views of Little Pleasant Bay on my blog. (Click on blog link for close-up photo.)

The Osprey nest across the river at Pahwah Point was erected by the Orleans Conservation Trust in “Loving memory of Jodie Limon Montoya who lived from July 24, 1963 to  July 14, 2014 whose passion for  nature and the preservation of wildlife serves as an inspiration to all who were privileged to know her.”

If you happen to go by there this summer, you’ll see 2 Ospreys in their nest and maybe even some  little ones!
