There have been so many new renovations at Kent’s Point, it’s hard to count them all. The last time we were there we noticed these new steps leading up from the beach to the trail. What a great addition, as it’s always been a huge step to maneuver to get up there. Thanks to all who have helped with these wonderful renovations! You certainly are enhancing these trails!
Little Pleasant Bay was pretty frozen the other day. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it that iced over. This was such a pretty view looking out from Pahwah Landing with all of the dried cattails blowing in the wind. What do you think?
The 14 foot Catboat National Championship Races were held yesterday by Arey’s Pond Boat Yard. It was lucky that they were held yesterday before the winds from Hurricane Erin arrive today. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
We watched from Pahwah Pont. There is always something fun to see on Cape Cod.
Waiting for the perfect tide and winds, these Catboats at Arey’s Pond are ready to set sail in Little Pleasant Bay, and even through the narrows to Pleasant Bay. What fun for everyone involved!
This was such a pretty view looking out on Little Pleasant Bay from Pah Wah Point. The sun reflecting on the water looked like diamonds sprinkled about.
Sometimes we like to go to Pahwah Landing in Harwich and watch the boats or see if there is any wind to go sailing. This was such a pretty reflection on the water looking out onto Little Pleasant Bay.
The weather is still beautiful and the water temperature is warm, so it is easy to enjoy the last days of summer. This person is certainly savoring the quiet and solitude looking out onto Little Pleasant Bay.
So peaceful and pretty, don’t you think?
