The sunset last night here on Cape Cod was spectacular! I saw the sky start changing color so I jumped in my car and headed over toward Boat Meadow Beach. But I stopped on side of the road over the salt marsh thinking this was just gorgeous.
Maybe the calm before the storm? We ‘re supposed to get our 3rd Nor’easter in 2 weeks on Tuesday night into Wednesday… ugh!
We are so ready for spring! What do you think?
I love it when the sun starts to go down over Cape Cod Bay. No matter what the colors or skies or clouds, it is always spectacular.
Very simple and very pretty. What do you think?
I always look for the orange or pink sunsets on Cape Cod Bay, but this yellow one was especially beautiful. I took this photograph from the top of one of the higher dunes in Eastham. I loved the fence in the foreground.

It was a beautiful almost sunset as the sun was starting to go down behind a bank of clouds at First Encounter Beach in Eastham on Cape Cod Bay. Temps were in the single digits and there was snow and ice everywhere.
I loved this photograph of the sun setting behind the bank of clouds over Cape Cod Bay with the snowy beach fence in the foreground. The colors were just spectacular!

This was such a beautiful sunset on the Eastham side of Rock Harbor in Orleans. There is a little trail through the tall grass that leads out to the beach and Cape Cod Bay.
I thought this sunset was so pretty with the tall grass and beach fence. What do you think?
When my son was here visiting last week we tried to catch sunset at a different beach each night. It was such fun but, boy was it cold!
This sunset was at Rock Harbor. I really like the tidal pools in the foreground and the yellow ring around the sun…
Pretty, don’t you think?
Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year filled with love, peace, laughter, and a little bit of time outside! 🙂
