It was a gorgeous Sunday to be out in the waters looking for oysters at Nauset Salt Pond in Eastham on Cape Cod. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Yesterday, called “Oyster Sunday,” was the first of 3 Sundays in the fall that people can get a “Oyster” license and search for oysters in designated areas at Nauset Salt Pond and the river leading into it.
Looks like fun! This guy was walking back with his bucket full.
Have you ever participated in Oyster Sundays at the Eastham Salt Pond by the visitors center?
I loved this photograph of these two sailors coming back in after a day of sailing with the fall landscape and pretty clouds in the background. They had a great day sailing with a very brisk wind.
The clouds in the sky by the visitors center in Eastham the other day were just amazing. (Click on the blog link to see entire photo.) I got down on the ground and took this photograph looking up. What an unbelievable sky with vertical clouds! So pretty!
What do you think? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen vertical clouds like that before!
It is always such a treat to look outside and see some sort of wildlife in our yard. Today it was this White-Tailed Deer sauntering through, looking for something to eat.
I think I surprised him as I took this photograph from inside our house through the glass. He stared at me for a bit and then moved on.
