The waves have been perfect for some great surfing and paddle-surfing on Cape Cod. It’s been fun just going down to the beach and watching them all try to catch that “perfect wave!”
There were 19 surfers out there the other day… so much fun to watch them try to get a good ride in.
It was a beautiful day for a walk on any Cape Cod Beach. We took advantage of the warm weather, sunny skies and low tides and headed out to Nauset Light Beach for an early morning walk. (Click on blog link for full photo.)
The views from the overlook at Nauset Light Beach are just gorgeous and always changing. I loved this view from the parking lot looking out over the old fence to the ocean.
Someone has been busy at Nauset Light Beach. They have made 2 of these free-firm structures using only things found at the beach like driftwood and twine from the branches. Standing about 8′ tall, they are pretty cool looking. One is at the entrance to the beach by the trail and the other one is quite a ways down the beach toward Coast Guard Beach.
Have you seen them on the beach? Someone was being very creative!
