There is a nice little wheelchair-accessible overlook by the trail at Kent’s Point which was constructed by the Boy Scouts years ago. You can see all the way out to Little Pleasant Bay.
So pretty, don’t you think?
We were taking a nice walk at Kent’s Point a couple of days ago when we saw this sailboat on the grass on the little river by the trail. How did it get there?
It looks like it got loose from its mooring and washed up high on the grass with those huge high tides that we had the past couple of weeks.
But how will it get off of the grass? I sure hope they can do something before the cold and the ice sets in. It looks like a nice sailboat.
You never know what kind of views you might see when hiking at Kent’s Point. This reflection of the dock with the colorful trees in the background was just spectacular!
I’ve walked down this trail hundreds of times before but never really saw this picnic table. Then I realized that it’s a great place for a picnic as the views are spectacular, and it’s secluded enough that you don’t get the wind or direct sunlight.
