There have been so many new renovations at Kent’s Point, it’s hard to count them all. The last time we were there we noticed these new steps leading up from the beach to the trail. What a great addition, as it’s always been a huge step to maneuver to get up there. Thanks to all who have helped with these wonderful renovations! You certainly are enhancing these trails!

Many Improvements Along The Trails At Kent’s Point On Cape Cod.
1,073 viewsThere have been many new improvements along the trails at Kent’s Point in Orleans in the past few months and it really looks nice. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
You can see there have been many split rail fences installed along the trails. This will keep both dogs and people on the designated trails. There are also new wood chips along the trails where it used to get so muddy.
Thanks to all those who helped install all these new fences and scatter the wood chips. The trails look so well cared for.
Beautiful Lilies Of The Valley Wildflower Grove At Kent’s Point On Cape Cod.

We must have never hiked there at this time in the spring because I’m sure we wouldn’t have missed them. They are really spectacular! Lilies of the Valley only last a week or two, so you still have a bit of time to see them.

How Did That Sailboat Get There On Cape Cod?
1,308 viewsWe were taking a nice walk at Kent’s Point a couple of days ago when we saw this sailboat on the grass on the little river by the trail. How did it get there?
It looks like it got loose from its mooring and washed up high on the grass with those huge high tides that we had the past couple of weeks.
But how will it get off of the grass? I sure hope they can do something before the cold and the ice sets in. It looks like a nice sailboat.
