I never get sick of walking along Coast Guard Beach, or any Cape Cod National Seashore beach. They all take your breath away. Beauty, solitude, tranquility… Wow!

I thought I would take  ride to Coast Guard Beach and see what the beach looked like after the storm and frigid temperatures last weekend. The new path to the beach looks the same but the dark peat by the old path has come up quite a bit, as you can see in the photograph.

It looked quite a bit different than last week when I was there. It certainly is interesting what Mother Nature unearths.

It was a gorgeous winter day for a walk down Coast Guard Beach. It was almost low tide and the sandbars were starting to come out.

I loved the clouds in the sky down by Nauset Spit! So pretty, don’t you think?
