Yesterday was one of the “10 best”days here on Cape Cod with the temps in the high 60s and sunny with a little breeze. Just perfect. Hopefully you got to spend a little time enjoying the outdoors with the colder temperatures looming around the corner. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
We watched these two kayakers land at Boat Meadow Beach. What a beautiful setting. And then… two Yellowlegs flew in which you can see better in the 2nd photo.
It has been a glorious week here on Cape Cod with sunny skies and warm temperatures. We weren’t surprised when we saw these kayakers enjoying a paddle around Nauset Marsh yesterday.
There are many ways to get to Pleasant Bay and one of them is by paddling down the Namequoit River in Orleans. This kayaker was enjoying the last part of her trip out to the bay along the quiet and winding river. #orleans #namequoitriver
One of our favorite hikes is the Nauset Marsh Trail by the Visitor’s Center in Eastham. It has so much diversity that there is always something new to see… like the kayaker out in the river!
I love this bridge over the salt marsh. It is such a beautiful view. Have you ever hiked the Nauset Marsh Trail? Does this bridge look familiar?
The kayak racks at Hemenway Landing are starting to fill up with kayaks and canoes. Pretty soon it will be warm enough to take that much-anticipated paddle out into Nauset Marsh!
