I love driving out on MacMillan Pier and seeing all there is to see… and, I love the drive back looking toward Commercial Street and the library and all of the boats. This was such a pretty day. Look at those puffy little clouds…they look like mini-cotton balls!
It was just about 6:00 am, and the tide was coming in, when the fishing boats at Rock Harbor revved up their engines and headed out through the channel to Cape Cod Bay for a few hours of fishing. This boat, Triton, was the first one out of the harbor.
The dinghies were all ready to take some anxious boaters out on Meeting House Pond and down the river to Pleasant Bay and maybe out to the ocean waters. Such a pretty view in Orleans…
