Rock Harbor has been under renovation for so long, it’s so nice to see the fishing boats have their own homes and are ready for a busy season. I always love the patriotic flags on the boats, especially Big Whiskey.
There sure is a lot of beach grass around from the high winds and high waters of the blizzard a few weeks ago. This boat at Hemenway Landing is really “full of it!”
Every time we go to Pahwah Landing, there is something new to see. The views are always changing and always gorgeous! Pretty soon we might see some boats back out there on Little Pleasant Bay.
It seems like there is always a fishing boat docked at MacMillan Pier. The Yankee Rose was just beautiful on the dock with that gorgeous sky and They Faced The Sea mural in the background. You never know what you’ll see at the Pier, but it’s always pretty unique!
I posted this 2 years ago on my blog. Yesterday I heard that the Yankee Rose had overturned and sunk off of Provincetown killing the 2 people on board. How sad… our hearts go out to the fishing community on Cape Cod.
We took a drive to Hemenway Landing and took a few photos. Then we each edited them in different way and I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It’s been a long and cold winter here on Cape Cod. You can see the fishing boats are all frozen in place at Rock Harbor. Even all of the construction has come to a standstill with all of the snow and ice. And now another huge storm is coming…
