It was a gorgeous day when we went down to Rock Harbor in Orleans on Cape Cod. This Seagull was so content lazing up on the post.
I loved this pose, what do you think?
Yesterday was a gorgeous fall day with temperatures in the 60s when we saw these two Gray Seals playing in the waves at Coast Guard Beach in Eastham on Cape Cod.
We stayed for quite a while as they entertained us with their surfing and swimming skills.
Cute little guys, don’t you think?
The tide was so low the other day that you could see sandbars for miles. I love this panoramic view that shows the whole coastline and the gorgeous clouds above. It was a spectacular day!
What do you think?
There are still plenty of Cabbage White butterflies flitting about this fall on Cape Cod, especially near the marshes.
We saw these two butterflies at Nauset Marsh the other day. I wasn’t sure why one had 1 spot and the other had 2 spots, only to learn later that the female has 2 spots.
They loved the yellow wildflowers growing in the marsh.
The autumn views of Nauset Marsh from Fort Hill in Eastham on Cape Cod are stunning! Love the orange bittersweet berries on the bushes all along the trail.
You can even see Nauset Coast Guard Station in the distance.
