It was the perfect morning to pack a picnic breakfast and head out to the beach. Boat Meadows in Eastham on Cape Cod was the place to be. Just look at those clouds.
It was a glorious day with the temperature in the 60s. It feels a lot like spring…
Have you had a picnic yet?
It was just me and the Seagulls on Nauset Beach in Orleans on Cape Cod early one morning. I loved the solitude.
This clam shell says it all…enjoying an early morning walk on the beach with no one else around.
I saw this turkey in Dennis on Cape Cod the other day as I was parked in a parking lot. He was not the least bit intimidated by me. As a matter of fact, he almost looked like he was posing for the picture.
Love the feathers, don’t you?
The clouds were just beautiful in this black and white photograph of Nauset Beach on the National Seashore in Orleans on Cape Cod.
Sometimes black and white photographs really grab you. I loved this one.
What do you think?
The Bearberry with its vibrant red berries are starting to come out on Cape Cod. They are an 8″ trailing evergreen shrub with red berries and glossy, leathery leaves. Out in Colorado they are called kinnikinick.
Their flowers which are tiny white or pink bells will bloom in May and June on sandy or rocky soil.
Have you ever seen a Bearberry?
