There were lots of canoes and kayaks in the water and on land at Hemenway Landing in Eastham on Cape Cod. What a great place to launch your canoe or kayak and paddle out to Nauset Spit. It doesn’t get much prettier!
But be careful of the tides and the channel markers so you don’t get stuck in the mud at low tide!
Looking out across Nauset Marsh to Nauset Break from Fort Hill in Eastham on Cape Cod is just gorgeous! You can see the kayakers and boaters and beautiful beaches.
This kayaker was certainly enjoying the beautiful weather that we’ve been having here on Cape Cod lately. He was paddling around Wiley Pond and then took the little tributary to a smaller pond nearby. It looked like he had a fishing pole on board.
I was so surprised how many boats had been taken out of the water this week at Meetinghouse Pond in Orleans on Cape Cod. Wow!
They are stacked pretty high! I wonder if they will stay that way for the winter or if they have another “home” for the cold winter. Does anyone know what they do with all the boats?
