I love the views on the road to Coast Guard Beach and the views on the road from Coast Guard Beach. We were on our way to Nauset Light Beach from Coast Guard Beach when Phil took this photograph.
The colors were so pretty this morning at Coast Guard Beach with the sun shining hazily in the sky. The sky almost looks like summer until you see the beach.
I love the walk from Doane Rock to Coast Guard Beach, especially if you take some of the trails. This was such a pretty view of Coast Guard Station through the tall reeds on the Nauset Marsh.
As the winter storms were gauging out the dunes by Coast Guard Station, the extra sand was being deposited down the beach toward Nauset Spit. I took this photograph at high tide where you can see the huge beach. Earlier this year you could not even walk down the beach at high tide as the water line was much, much higher.
Beautiful, don’t you think? I wonder what Mother Nature has in store for the rest of the winter months?
