The Bridge At Wiley Park In Eastham On Cape Cod.

Wiley Park is one of my favorite places to hike here on Cape Cod. It is so pretty with 2 kettle ponds within view. It is especially nice when it is chilly outside or when the wind is blowing as it is very sheltered.

This is the bridge that connects the trail over the 2 kettle ponds. I really like how it looks. What do you think?

Beech Forest Trail In Provincetown On Cape Cod Is Gorgeous!

If you’re looking for a gorgeous and fairly easy hike in Provincetown, try the Beech Forest Trail. It is just beautiful as it meaders on a boardwalk over the marshes, through a beech tree forest, through a pine forest and then around the lake.

It doesn’t get much prettier, especially in the fall when the colors are spectacular!

Slender Fragrant Goldenrod Wildflowers At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

I never knew there are so many different varieties of Goldenrod wildflowers. Wow! I saw this Slender Fragrant Goldenrod a couple of weeks ago while hiking at Fort Hill. Although I’ve seen Goldenrod for years and years, I don’t remember seeing this one before. It looked so delicate.

Slender Fragrant Goldenrod has 1/4″ tiny yellow flowers that form a flat-topped cluster at the top of the plant, which grows 1-2 feet. They bloom from July through October on dry sandy soil and fields.

Have you ever seen a Slender Fragrant Goldenrod?

Little Cliff Pond Trail At Nickerson State Park In Brewster On Cape Cod.

We took an awesome hike at Nickerson State Park in Brewster called Little Cliff Pond Trail. You hike along the shores of Cliff Pond, then through the woods to Little Cliff Pond where you see some spectacular view, especially in the fall.

The hike back is along the opposite shore but up on a cliff along the smaller pond, thus called Little Cliff Pond. It was really pretty and fairly easy for the whole family.
