Pretty soon the trails to the beaches on Cape Cod will be busy with people again. This path to Marconi Beach is so pretty with the fence on either side.
Classic Cape Cod…

The beaches on Cape Cod are all pretty spectacular! I loved this photograph from the top of the huge dune looking down on Marconi Beach in Wellfleet.
Pretty clouds, don’t you think?
There was quite a bit of sand that washed in from the Nor’easter a couple of weeks ago here on Cape Cod. The bottom of the stairs at Marconi Beach were pretty buried as you can see in the first photograph. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
The good new is that the stairs are still standing and you can still use them to take a nice walk on the beach. I think staying to the right side going down is a little bit easier, as on the left side the sand is pretty high.
I’m sure it will take a little bit of time to dig them out come spring, but well worth the wait as Marconi Beach is one spectacular beach… any time of the year!
The view from the Marconi Beach overlook is always spectacular! I’ve taken this photograph so many times and was surprised to see the new sandbar on the beach at low tide. (Click on blog link to see other photo.)
I took another photograph standing a bit farther back. As always, it just takes your breath away. So beautiful…
I always seem to take the same iconic photograph at the overlook to Marconi Beach. I tried a different angle this time and I think I like it. You can see the broken down fence right at the edge of the dune.
What do you think?
