Thank You To All Of The Fort Hill Volunteers On Cape Cod.

I’ve seen many volunteers working very hard at Fort Hill the past couple of weeks. They’ve done a wonderful job cleaning up all of the old stone walls. You can see some of them in the photos. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

The Red Maple Swamp Trail at Fort Hill is beautiful any time of the year. With all of the rain that we’ve had the past few weeks, the water is pretty high around the boardwalk making for some really pretty reflections. Have you hiked there recently?

This View At Fort Hill On Cape Cod Never Gets Old.

When we lived in the mountains of Colorado, it was just gorgeous but we rarely saw any clouds in the sky. It was always sunny.

The first thing I remarked on when we moved to the Cape were the beautiful clouds. Every day is different and every sky is different.

I never get sick of this view of Nauset Marsh looking out toward Coast Guard Station from Fort Hill. I love the clouds along the horizon over the water.

Beautiful Red-Tailed Hawk At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

We were driving out of the upper parking lot at Fort Hill the other day when Phil said,” What’s that up in that tree?” It looked like a white buoy or plastic bag stuck up there.

But, as we got closer, I realized that it was a Red-tailed Hawk perched way up on top of the tree. It looked almost like an ornament on top of a Christmas tree. How beautiful…
