The newly cleaned-up stone walls by the Cape Cod National Seashore’s “Woodchucks” volunteer crew at Fort Hill are just gorgeous! Look at how prominent they look in the photograph from the upper lot at Fort Hill looking out over Nauset Marsh toward Coast Guard Station. Just beautiful!

Coast Guard Beach After The Storm On Cape Cod Last Weekend.
I thought I would take ride to Coast Guard Beach and see what the beach looked like after the storm and frigid temperatures last weekend. The new path to the beach looks the same but the dark peat by the old path has come up quite a bit, as you can see in the photograph.
It looked quite a bit different than last week when I was there. It certainly is interesting what Mother Nature unearths.
From Daffodils To Snow On Cape Cod!
Thank You To All Of The Fort Hill Volunteers On Cape Cod.
I’ve seen many volunteers working very hard at Fort Hill the past couple of weeks. They’ve done a wonderful job cleaning up all of the old stone walls. You can see some of them in the photos. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Thanks to everyone who volunteers their time and energy to make this happen. We are so lucky to have such a gorgeous place nearby to enjoy!
