Butter And Eggs Wildflowers Are Late Bloomers On Cape Cod.

Butter and Eggs are two-toned yellow and orange irregular shaped flowers with spurs. They look just like a garden Snapdragon. They grow from July through September but I saw this one blooming at the beginning of November by the side of the road at Boat Meadow Beach.

Pretty, don’t you think? Have you ever seen a Butter & Eggs wildflower?

Double-Crested Cormorants At Boat Meadow Creek On Cape Cod.

I was just commenting to Phil a few days ago that I hadn’t gotten a good photograph of the Double-Crested Cormorant this past summer. I was just never in the right place at the right time. (Click on blog link to see other photo.)

And then as I was walking over the bridge on Boat Meadow Creek the other day, I saw three Double-Crested Cormorants. How cool!

This  2nd Cormorant was just standing on the river bank looking around.  I loved his big, webbed feet!

Cute little guy, don’t you think?

Simply Beautiful On Nauset Marsh Trail On Cape Cod.

I love the Nauset Marsh Trail in Eastham because each and every time I hike it, I see something totally different. Today it was the simplicity of it… the puffy little clouds with the reflection of the trees and huts on the river. It was so quiet… not a soul around.

So pretty, don’t you think?
